Meet Our Team
Dr. Adams and Dr. Sutherland and their fantastic team are very happy to introduce themselves to you. They are always taking new patients and will take care of your dental needs while walking you through the whole treatment plan process so you leave knowing we have your best interest in mind.
Dr. Michael Adams
Dr. Adams was born and raised in the Westbank. He graduated from Archbishop Shaw High school in '73 and then went on to graduate from LSU School of Dentistry in '82. He served briefly in an assiociateship for three years before opening up his own practice in 1986. He is a true outdoorsman and traveller who has visted over twenty different countries. Dr. Adams is very excited about Dr. Sutherland joining the practice and knows that this will be a strong team that will continue to serve Gretna for many more years to come.
Dr. Dannon Sutherland
Dr. Sutherland grew up in Metairie before moving to Alabama for High School. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, and went on to graduate from University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. Since finishing school, he served three years in the AIr Force as a dentist. He was stationed at Bolling AFB (Washington D.C.) and Lajes AFB (Azores, Portugal). He recently joined the practice with Dr. Adams and they are both very eager to make this new team a huge success!
Dr. Sutherland, his wife, Dale, and their family of four pets are excited about their new life here in Gretna.
The Wonder Women
Our ladies are phenomenal. BJ and Sonia take care of the front desk and overall daily operations to ensure your visit is smooth and relaxing. We have our three Hygienists, Melinda, Nikolette and Rachel, who work incredibly hard to ensure your smile stays looking fabulous. Our dental assistants, Shannon and Mandee, along with all the wonder women of the office are a great reason to come to Gretna to check us out.
